HIGHER RIGHTS OF AUDIENCE
Swansea University School of Law is accredited to assess candidates for the Higher Rights of Audience Qualification Criminal qualification.
We offer assessments in Swansea, London and various other locations.
The assessment takes the form of a mixture of Advocacy assessments (carried out “live” and recorded onto camera) and a written examination on evidence and procedure in the Crown Court.
Please see the Law Society's website www.sra.org.uk/qasa/ for current news on QASA.
Please note that assessments in London in October will be the last HRA style assessments offered by the University. As of January, the new QASA regime will come in to force. The SRA will notify you of the name of the provider of that scheme.
Once QASA is in force, it is the intention of the University not to offer HRA resits.
